Whilst 95% of all Heavy industrial Castors rely on Polyurethane for its wheels, Cartar use exclusively only high grade Cast Nylon P6. Cast Nylon P6 is considered the strongest Non-Ferous material that is available to industry.

The issue with Polyurethane, whilst a cheaper material to source, will always flat spot when subjected to static heavy loads over a sustained period. Once your castor has developed a surface flat spot, its ability to roll is anything but a Glidemaster.
